So, it’d be pretty cool if my skin would stop being irritated. :| Ch’yeah.
Also, I can feel a prickle of irritation on the spot where I had eczema by my right elbow a few years ago. I actually had eczema on the backs of both of my thighs for a few years when I was younger. My mother told me no one would romantically like me because it was so hideous. :| Thanks, Mom. I avoided wearing shorts and skirts for the longest time, and it sucked during the summer when I lived in Texas. I was always wondering if people were staring at the back of my legs and thinking they were hideous. Thankfully, after dripping hot candle wax to ease the itch and several tubes of hydrocortisone (read: steroids), all three patches of irritated, dry skin disappeared without scarring.
Epidermis, y u do this? My mom just bought new laundry detergent soooo… Gahhh. Sometimes I wake up and find myself semi-conciously scratching at my ankle or behind my thigh. The worst area to feel this irritation is by or on my underarms. Just…no. I won’t even go into it. I’m very self-concious about wearing short-sleeve shirts or anything less. I’m actually quite self-concious about my body anyway, but when it comes to my skin… Maaaan. It’s very sensitive, easily bruises, and very susceptible to scarring. I have a scar on my left ring finger from velcro. Ahh, c’est la vie. I was born with this, so now I just have to find ways to cope with it or improve. Doable.
The change of weather could also be a factor. My skin didn’t really show much improvement till I moved to Washington. The environment in Dallas was hot, dry, and wasn’t very good for my skin. Then I moved up here and it was like WHOA! Is this state a Pokecenter ‘cause my health just got so much better. I lost a bit of weight as I got into better shape, my skin got clearer, and my sight…well, there’s not much you can do to fix astigmatism, haha.
G’night!
