Hi, my name is Kayla, and I tend to choose what clothes to wear for formal events…the day of them.
Originally, I was going to wear that black dress haphazardly laid on the stool in the background. Then I thought the leopard print dress was nice because I like the way it fits and it has spaghetti straps so I don’t have to worry about pulling it up every five minutes. I was concerned if a leopard dress was appropriate to wear to a debut though sooooo haha. HOWEVER, I’m going to wear the white dress (which I wore to my graduation party last year lol)…mainly because it has pockets, haha. I wish I could magically hem it an inch or two shorter though. OR I could just use fifty million strategically placed safety pins. Or tape.

Yay to going to my first debut! :D I don’t even personally know the girl, haha. I’m excited for the FASA Formal tonight too. :) Ta ta, y’all!
One of the many symptoms of cabin fever is the need to have photo shoots…by yourself. I regret nothing…except maybe not taking the time to carefully adjust my camera’s settings or meticulously edit, haha.
Spring is just around the four to five-month long corner and I’m feeling goooood about this year’s photo shoots with my dad. :) I was avoiding homework bored earlier and decided to watch Project Runway, which sparked me into doing one of my favorite past times while my mom’s at work: trying on her dresses. I’m lame, I know. You’re never too old to play Dress-Up. :P
I don’t think you guys understand how much I want to go to school. Missing a week (technically two school days for me) due to snow is stressing me out. I can’t even focus on the buttload of schoolwork my professors assigned yesterday because I’ve been cooped up in my house (except for yesterday). Why is this all in bold? I’ll stop. Okay. Better. Jeez, I really want some cake right now. Now I’m just typing from my stream of consciousness so I think I’ll stop…NOW.

akdfjlkajds there’s so much background noise. Sorry. Although I’ve had this microphone for a few years, I haven’t really used it very much. Also, I still don’t understand how to use Garageband because I never took the time to, but that’s what summer is for, yeah? :D;;;
Erm, uhhh, yeah. Enjoy. I think a few parts are really messy, but I just kinda played/’ooh’-ed and ‘ahh’-ed what I felt like doing.

I’m playing guitar and singing children songs for my pre-k class tomorrow and this is one of the selections. I decided to record myself to see how weird I look, and after about five videos I managed to make myself look like I’m NOT being tortured, haha.

My favorite part is when JeanMarie says, “Kayla, you look super Asian!”
